Although MAD MAX universe reveals a trilogy, this article I only refer to the first of these, known simply as MAD MAX. Synopsis: In the future
post-nuclear, a police officer in charge of monitoring a highway has to deal with a group of criminals who operate in it. Victim of their barbarity, his wife and children are killed, and Mad Max then began a fierce struggle for the Wildcats, looking for revenge. (PRO)
Australian film that launched the careers of Mel Gibson and his director George Miller (who also would direct the other two sequels). We face a futuristic western. With all the analog elements "within a few years" would lead to such genre. Motorcycles, tight leather clothes and projecting an image of rebellion depraved. Nothing to say about this.
Let the best of film. A handful of scenes that would please any film lover to ecstasy. Sublime to be very well filmed. And undoubtedly, are the pinnacle of the entire film. Happen when the wife and son Rockatansky Max (Mad Max) are killed. Well, the lyrical romanticism (present throughout the film and images achieved through a somber tone full of melancholy) starts from the character of Mel Gibson and family go on vacation. From there until the crime scene the film is excellent. The background music is great and full of lyricism to the images. In addition, when necessary, the fund intones the suspense that enhances the message provided a death stage. Of course this is not the only good film and will need to see it. Something also praises a film like this is the romance that gives the feeling of revenge. Something that in itself, unlike a passionate life of the eternal and common.
And although this film handled the subject is helped only slightly and images (no depth in the emotional aspect of the character), is precisely what is needed to create the anti-hero. Few well-made anti-heroes in the film, which is a special reason to watch this movie. to enjoy it. Earning
31 / 2 stars.
